Blackberry Crush
Ingredients
- 4 blackberries
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Simple Syrup
- 1 1/4 ounces vodka
- Seltzer
- Ice
- Mint sprig
- In a glass, combine blackberries, lemon juice, and simple syrup; lightly crush berries to release their juice. Add ice and vodka; top with seltzer. Stir to combine. Garnish with a mint sprig.
Punchy Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 cup guava juice
- 1 cup passion fruit juice
- 1 cup lychee juice
- 1/2 cup packed basil leaves, plus more for garnish
- 1/3 cup fresh-squeezed key lime (or regular lime) juice
- 1/2 cup tangerine juice
- Lime slices, for garnish
- Mix guava, passion fruit, and lychee juices (we like Ceres brand) in a large pitcher. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of the fruit-juice mixture with the basil. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, let cool, and strain, discarding basil.
- Pour infused juice back into pitcher, and stir in lime and tangerine juices. (Optional: Add 1 cup rum.) Ladle over ice and garnish with basil and lime.
Classic Champagne Cocktail
Ingredients
- 3 drops bitters
- 1 sugar cube
- 1 ounce Cognac
- 4 ounces chilled Champagne
- Drop bitters onto sugar cube; let soak in. Place sugar cube in a Champagne flute. Add Cognac, and top with Champagne.
Champagne Punch
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons grenadine
- 3 tablespoons Cointreau
- 2 tablespoons brandy
- 1 3/4 cups champagne
- Raspberries, apples, or other seasonal fruit
- Fill a small ice bucket halfway with ice. Pour grenadine, Cointreau, brandy, and champagne over ice. Stir gently, and ladle punch into 2 wide-mouthed stemmed glasses. Garnish punch with raspberries, apples, or any other fruit in season.
